The Collective

The Collective is an organized group of Cupiditas' most influential people that unofficially govern the city. The group meets at undisclosed locations, irregular times, and usually with representatives. The majority of suspected members are top CEO's and trade leaders.

The group has made themselves publicly known for around two centuries, but many historians have pointed to its existence dating much farther back, possibly to the city's founding. Cupiditas citizens often point out and agree on the unfair and suspicious nature of the Collective, but fail to defeat the group's "golden rule;" that being, "whoever has the gold, rules."
