Karien Vael is a former inhabitant of Stormhaven, holding the rank of Stormkeeper. He stole the Heart of the Tempest in -3 OS before going on a spree of destruction and abusing its power. Eventually, his spree would come to an end as he ran into "that man," who bested him in combat.
Since then, he hunted Uncle B, trying to eliminate the chosen of Hura. While his plot succeeded, it immediately costed him his life, as he was slain by the Kindred of Dawn in Unembeza.
