Elemental Planes
The elemental planes are an interconnected ring of chaotic elemental energy that gives the constant of matter shape. There are four primary elements: air, earth, fire, and water, which are conjoined by secondary combined elements. The planes themselves feature little to no civilization and are inhabited by elementals and genies.
Cynefrid has complete domain and control over the physical landscape of the elemental planes and shifts their size regularly. This corresponds with factors in the Prime Material Plane, like increasing the plane of fire will result in a hotter temperature and drier climate. Mortals regularly pray to Cynefrid or a god in her pantheon in order to bring about shifts in the elemental planes for more favorable conditions. For example, praying to Hura (goddess of storms and the seas) regularly with a devoted following will result in the plane of water being increased. This in turn gives Hura more power to bring about more rain, higher tides, and swifter waters.
