Judgement

No other weapon in all the planes of Helia compare in legendary status to the divine blade, Judgement. It houses the entire essence of the goddess of one of the Five Great Ones, Saewara. The sword itself is sentient, and those who attune to it form a telepathic bond with the goddess housed within. Every 20 years, the weapon is passed to a new Urodan wielder through a ceremony called Keisho.

Appearance

Judgement is a magical katana (longsword) with a blade that appears to be made from glass. The guard and pommel are forged from Limbo-based infernal iron, while the grip and sheath is made from birch wood. Despite being made by fragile materials, the sword remains a working symbol of strength.

Abilities

• Provides flat attack and damage bonus to all creatures.
• Deals improved critical hits.
• Provides flat damage bonus to evil-aligned creatures.
• Grants the wielder blindsight, additional movement speed, and immunity to several debuffs.
• Can transfer attack bonus to armor class.
• Ignores resistances and immunities against sentient creatures.
• Allows the wielder to know all good and bad deeds nearby creatures have taken in their lifetime.
• Allows the wielder to summon Azriel and Minos once a month outside of combat.
• Cannot be destroyed.
• Damages evil-aligned creatures that attempt to hold the sword.
• Allows the wielder to perform three deadly divine maneuvers.
• Is sentient with the goddess Saewara
• Shares the memories of previous wielders.

Restrictions

• Rapidly ages the mind of the wielder, deteriorating their personality after 20 years. This process is not gradual.
• Blade breaks upon striking a good-aligned creature.
• Attunement can only be canceled with the sword's permission.
