Humans are the most prominent race in Helia, and are known for their rapid development and ambition. They erect massive cities, kingdoms, and empires in short timespans, only to have them fall in the next century. The world would change very slowly if it weren't for humans. This is all due to their relatively short lifespan compared to many other races and creatures. Because of this rapid aging and longer time to mature, humans are forced to develop quickly and move at what would seem like light speed compared to other races. Through this, they become innovators, conquerors, and heroes out of necessity. Unlike long lived and magically gifted races, humans must rely on their large population size to make strides. However, this comes at a cost. Because there are so many humans, they feud with each other more than any other race. With such a short amount of time, many wish to claim as much as possible and leave as long of a legacy as they can, even if it hurts their fellow man. With their immense population, humans can be found in the strangest of planes and places. No matter where you go, you may very likely come across a human.
